SMILE

SMILE , saying NOTHING(unknown writer)

Time does not wait for you or me
Days pass and year pass
You loose your loved ones
You move away from your loved ones
Your life changes
But,Your heart has those precious moments etched in it
whether you want it or not
It is there! making you happy at sad times
and making you even more painful.
At times your heart has those moments in that corner where no one can see what is it.
They ask seeing in your blank face andyou just smile, saying "NOTHING"

Never Give Up...

I stumble, I fall,
I am helpless,
I choose to call it quits,
My inner voice resonates - Never Give Up
I am in pain, I squeal with exhausting bouts churning my gut,
I cringe my heart,
I clench my fist to give up in despair,
My heart echoes - Never Give Up
I am betrayed, I feel cheated,
I take a vow "Never again would I dare to trust!"
I ask "Why me Lord?"
My mind guides me - Never Give Up
I lose a "precious pearl",
I never wanted to let go,
I wonder what to do,
My inner voice verberates - Never Give Up
I hurt a friend out of no intent,
I want him back in my life?
"Yes, I do" I claim,
My guardian angel says - Never Give Up

Short Story

A Love story Once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings lived, Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge and all the others, including Love. One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean. So, all the feelings prepared their boats to leave. Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the very last possible moment. When the island was almost totally under water, Love decided it was time to leave. She began looking for someone to ask for help. Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat. Love asked, "Richness, can I come with you on your boat?" Richness answered, "I am sorry, but there is a lot of silver and gold on my boat and there would be no room for you anywhere" The Love decided to ask Vanity, who was passing in a beautiful vessel, for help. Love cried out "Vanity, help me please!", "I can't help you, " Vanity said, "You are all wet and will damage my beautiful boat." Next Love saw Sadness passing by. Love said, "Sadness please let me go with you." Sadness answered, "Love, I'm sorry, but, I just need to be alone now." Then, Love saw Happiness and cried out, "Happiness, please take me with you." But Happiness was so overjoyed that he didn't hear Love calling him. Love began to cry, then, she heard a voice say, "Come love I will take you with me". It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived on land the elder went on his way. Love realized how much she owed the elder and when she met Knowledge she asked who it was that had helped her. "It was Time", Knowledge answered. "But why did Time help me when no one else would?", Love asked. Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, answered,
"Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."

The Carpenter's House

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractorof his plans to leave the house building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife enjoying his extended family. He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire. They could get by.The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but in time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end his career. When the carpenter finished his work and the builder came to inspect the house, the contractor handed the front-door key to the carpenter. "This is your house," he said, "my gift to you."What a shock! What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently. Now he had to live i n the home he had built none too well.So it is with us. We build our lives in a distracted way, reacting rather than acting, willing to put up less than the best. At important points we do not give the job our best effort. Then with a shock we look at the situation we have created and find that we are now living in the house we have built. If we had realized that we would have done it differently. Think of yourself as the carpenter. Think about your house. Each day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Build wisely. It is the only life you will ever build. Even if you live it for only one day more, that day deserves to be lived graciously and with dignity. The plaque on the wall says,
"Life is a do-it-yourself project."
Your life tomorrow will be the result of your attitudes and the choices you make today.

SMILING

Smiling is infectious,
you catch it like the flu.
When someone smiled at me today
I started smiling too.I passed around the corner,
and someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realized,I'd passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile,
then I realized its worth.
A single smile just like mine,
could travel round the earth. So, if you feel a smile begin, don't leave it undetected.
Let's start an epidemic quick, and get the world infected

The Mountain Story

A son and his father were walking on the mountains.
Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
"To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating,
somewhere in the mountain:"AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
Curious, he yells: "Who are you?"
He receives the answer: "Who are you?"
Angered at the response, he screams: "Coward!"
He receives the answer: "Coward!"
He looks to his father and asks: "What's going on?"
The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention."
And then he screams to the mountain: "I admire you!"
The voice answers: "I admire you!"
Again the man screams: "You are a champion!"
The voice answers: "You are a champion!"
The boy is surprised, but does not understand.
Then the father explains: "People call this ECHO,
but really this is LIFE.
It gives you bac k everything you say or do.
Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.
If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart.
If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence.
This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life;
Life will give you back everything you have given to it.
"YOUR LIFE IS NOT A COINCIDENCE. IT'S A REFLECTION OF YOU!
